Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with management department to maintain accurate financial records and ensure the company’s compliance with all legal requirements. Your responsibilities will include recording and verifying transactions, bringing the books to the trial balance stage, and completing tax forms. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting. Additional, work will involve keeping pricing for Amazon and other retail products accurate.
Responsibilities
- Enter financial data and transactions
- Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered
- Prepare trial balance
- Analyze budgets and other financial information
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Complete required tax forms
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
- Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
